On 3 Dec. 1985, Acharya Jin Kanti Suri Ji, the devotee of Acharya Hari Sagar Suri Ji was in Mandawala for four months (chatur-mas). In afternoon he felt uneasy and had fever. He gave all his responsibilities and roles on the shoulders of Gurudev Shri Maniprabhsagarji. On 4 th Dec. Acharya Kanti Suri Ji’s soul departed his body in the morning which was a great loss for all and had a funeral on the following day. Thousands of followers attended the funeral ceremony. At the time of funeral, an astonishing and strange incident took place. Acharya’s right hand flung out and began to sway which was a blessing given by him to all his devotees who were present there. The media also came there to cover that magical incident into their cameras. A huge memorial was decided to be constructed there in the memory of Acharya Jin Kanti Sagar Suri Ji and the trust was made to complete this task. On 32 nd birthday Gurudev Shri Maniprabhsagarji, a huge celebration was organized in Mumbai. On early morning, he visited the temple, got blessings from Shri Mahavir Swami Ji and sung rituals in his melodious voice. From his rituals he got an idea and the Jahaj Mandir was declared and it’s shape would be in the form of ship. He felt very happy and thanked the lords a million times by getting an unexpected gift on his 32 nd birthday.

In 1993, the inauguration ceremony of Shri Shantinath Bhagwan temple and Shri Jin Kanti Sagar Suri Ji temple were held. In 1999, "Anjan-Shalakha" ceremony was organized where 108 saints participated along with 40,000 devotees and followers.
